Sales Lead – Sales & Growth (m/f/d)

Become part of OneChain.

We resolve trade-offs that others take for granted: short lead times with low inventory, high availability without tied-up capital. With this, our customers achieve performance leaps that optimization alone cannot reach – Festo, Honeywell, Sigvaris, Resideo and others.

Our projects range from very small companies through mid-sized businesses to large corporations. In future we want to focus clearly on mid-sized companies – that is where paths are short, decisions are fast and the impact is most visible. Sharpening this focus with us is part of the job.

Our growth doesn't depend on the method or on the results. It depends on the fact that sales and visibility have so far run alongside the project business – handled by people whose real work is with the customers. We no longer want to do this on the side; we want to bring someone on board who is at home in it. That is the reason for this role.

Your role

You bring the craft: experience in how sales works in a B2B market that needs explaining. You look at what we already have – CRM, profiles, references, content –, get it into shape and then lead it. You sharpen the target group, turn the CRM into a steering instrument, try out outreach channels and keep the ones that work.

You shape the approach. In the team there is someone who runs the day-to-day CRM work, knows our customers and processes in detail and has your back. You set the professional direction and share knowledge along the way – a line management role is not part of this.

The role therefore sits between management and operational execution. You conduct the first and qualifying conversations and fill our Executive Workshops, from which the implementation projects emerge. The in-depth technical conversation stays with our Managing Director – thirty years of Theory of Constraints are our strongest argument. You recognise when that moment has come, and take over again afterwards.

And you help us get louder. Not on your own – content and material come from the team –, but with a clear idea of what has impact.

Your responsibilities

  • Sharpen the target group and ideal customers, with a focus on mid-sized companies
  • Develop and test outreach channels and keep the effective ones
  • Set up the sales process and CRM so that you can steer with them – supported in day-to-day work by a colleague who knows our processes
  • Conduct first and qualifying conversations, fill workshops, support deal closings
  • Build visibility on LinkedIn and in the industry together with the team

What you bring

  • You have personally owned at least one sales cycle, from first contact to signature
  • You know from your own experience how modern customer outreach works and what of it holds up in our market
  • You understand production or supply chain well enough to be taken seriously
  • You know how decisions are made in mid-sized companies and feel more at home there than in corporate structures
  • You can give professional direction without being a line manager
  • You like sharing your knowledge instead of keeping it to yourself

What you don't need

A particular number of years of experience. And you don't have to be a TOC expert – we'll teach you as much as you need for your work.

What awaits you

A role that didn't exist here before, with the room to shape it and no established structures holding you back. Support in day-to-day work from a colleague who knows our customers and processes, and a direct line to management and the implementation team. References that speak for themselves, and a market in which we are still far too quiet.

Application

No cover letter, and no glossy CV. Company names and titles tell us little. We care about what you were actually responsible for and what came of it.

Write us a few sentences:

  • One thing you were responsible for yourself. What was there before, what did you change, what was the result?
  • One thing that didn't work. What did you take away from it?

The second question is just as important to us as the first.

Optional: your proposal. Take a look at onechain.eu and goldratt.de. Who do you think our customers are, what do we sell, and what would you change first? Half a page is enough.

Write to us at one@onechain.eu.

We look forward to meeting you!
